Every year did you know that more and more people are in need of a good pair of compression leggings but sadly they do not go to the doctors to get any help at all mainly because of the fact that they do not have the insurance to go in and make sure or find out which ones they need to wear. There are other things that you can do if you do not have any compression leggings and cant get them til your next check, one thing that you can do is watch what you eat. That is right just by watching what you eat is going to help get rid of the Edema (swelling) of your feet and legs. Did you know that one way that you can check if it is the foods that you eat look at the sodium content (salt). Something as simple as the amount of salt that your body takes in could be the reason for the edema and the compression leggings. But you would not know that unless you do some research and find out possible causes for the swelling .

In fact there are a lot of people that not only their legs, feet and ankles will swell a lot of them time it is like they become a human balloon just because of the salt they take in .Or it could even be some medications that you may be taking to fight other health issues. That is right if you are someone that is a diabetic or someone that has to take blood pressure medication someone . The reason is because there really may be something wrong that compression leggings are not going to really help with. But if you are not the person that is not having problems with the swelling and it is a friend you may want to let them know some of the reasons that they are having the swelling issues and that there are other ways to try and make sure they do not swell anymore than they are. Plus it would help possibly take some of the swelling away. But that does not mean that if you are on a medication that you stop taking them . The best bet if you think that it is the medications that are making your edema worse take them to your doctor and talk to them about other options that they may have so that you not cause other health problems on top of the ones that you already have to begin with. You would be surprised as to how many people just decide to quit taking medications and other things that help on a daily basis with the function of their body inside and out of their body. At times by doing that a lot of people end up seriously hurt, sick or even die. Just because they really do not know how much the medications that they are on really help them with they daily life.

The first thing that you want to try is watch the foods that you eat and by a few good pairs of compression leggings and periodically put your feet up for 30 minutes 4 times a day. Believe it or not just by doing these simple steps this is going to help quite a bit without putting your health in danger and that is the most important thing. And if you think about it just doing these few things if you are on medication your doctor may take you off of the medications because you were able to make a change in your diet. Because a lot of the time the doctors put you on some of the medications is because they help take care of some of your health issues because of how you eat.
